Well, well, well. It’s been a busy couple of weeks for myself, I have been trying to finalise my essay which is turning into a mammoth of an essay I am currently totalling 30,000 words and also I am preparing to go into the works and take over from Mr Latham!!

Well not been going out much in the past couple weeks, I now have to save for the epic which will be ZANTE!!! So there is loads of euro’s to be saved and not much money to be made. I will be going the day after I finish placement and will be going with 7 of my best friends hopefully we will make it a holiday to remember? or possibly forget due to nasty cases of sun stroke?

Also they are planning my leaving do here in the office, it will be nice to go out one last time with the guys I work with and hopefully will meet up after I have finished my placement also!!

So as you all know I will taking over from Mike, so basically over the past couple of weeks I have started to be weaned off work like I have somekind of addiction. As I cannot just disappear one day and leave all my customers behind I have to professionally pass them across to my colleagues so they can now deal with them. I have been getting some nice and classy Outokumpu polo shirts, as I will no longer be looking flash in my suit and briefcase.

I will miss being in the office and this is now my last week in here as I go on holiday for a few days – no where nice just a chill out! and then I am in the works, working away becoming the master nester. Possibly some day in future I will be sat back at my desk making those phonecalls and taking those decisive decisions!

Anyways, I will have to make this blog a short one I need to add the finishing touches to my masterpiece, my baby is coming along now just a few more strokes. I would just like to say to those people still trying to obtain a placement, keep trying!! Some of my mates did not get a placement until late August and it has turned out to be an awesome placement for them. Do you really want to go into your final year now and miss out on that opportunity?? I will update you on my nesting capabilities in the next blog and will be going out to celebrate the finishing of my essay!! And next time it will be even closer to ZANTE!!
