I left you last time readily awaiting my football shindig, well it was a gruesome match, broken ankles, broken legs, broken noses and broken faces!!

Only joking, it was a good game a bad pitch and an even worse score! We lost 3-2, we were down 3-1 at half time and we gave all we could in the second half, crunching challenges, skyward shots. But. We could only grab a goal back, we hung our heads in shame and now we cannot show our faces at the SMACC site. After it was broadcast on the intranet pages of our horrible loss!

Back to the job though, well, it feels like I am no longer a student, but a sales executive in stainless steel! And it will be very strange when I venture back to University, I wonder if the traits I have picked up from my placement here at Outokumpu, such as increased time management skills, better punctuality, improved grammar and being generally more confident will be put to use back at University and result in success in my final year?!

I hope so but it is possible I will kill many a brain cell in my ‘freshers week’ as it is like starting University all over again. The past couple of weeks here on placement, I have not been so busy day to day wise, but I have had some fairly large customer problems in which I needed to rectify so these have kept me reaaal busy. We are on shutdown next week and with that comes a week off!! So I would imagine there will be many problems to come back to on my return and plenty to blog about!!

So a nice week off soon, the play-off finals, the champions league final, a 21st birthday, a mad night in Leeds (End of exams). It should be a fun-filled week and it is also payday!! ace!! So will have no money and many problems when I’m back.
