Ben

Hello everybody,

Well well well, it is the big day today. The football match of me and Mike’s distribution site versus the SMACC site. Who will win, Who’s hearts will be broken? Who’s legs will be broken? Who will be going home crying and who will be bringing the oranges at half time? These are all the questions that are going to be answered at tonight’s grudge match. Game on!

Game On

Went to see the tempest since the last blog, it was quite good didn’t really understand what was going off but it was loud and flashy and kept me entertained for the majority of it. My wallet died under the immense pressure of having to pay for my car insurance so there was no other nice excursions just a cheap night out round Sheffield, which also was good!

I have now given up the duty of been a high flying manager, due to my actual manager coming back and taking the reins once again. I think I will miss being Sir Alan Sugar and I looking forward to another opportunity coming up again. Work wise we have been really quiet over the past couple of weeks, the economic crisis must be getting worse and possibly the nasty swine flu hasn’t made things any better. We hope it picks up again soon, as I personally think we could be looking at redundancies once again. There is only 3 months left of my placement and I think this downturn will affect my possibilities of getting a job here after my final spell at university.

That is one of the good points of a placement, that there is a chance of securing a job when you finish university and in these times it seems very difficult to get a job once you have graduated.

So I am down to the last quarter, I have some good times here at Outokumpu and I am sure I will have more good times in the next few months. But main thing is to stay focused on tonight’s football match.

GAME ON!!
