Welcome along everybody,

First of all I would like to say I have survived the long long month of January, I ran out of money and had a few days feeling very depressed but then we got paid!!!! But then stupid as I am, I went and booked a holiday with the lads to ZANTE!! Is anyone out there at the beginning of August 2009? So now I am poor again until the next pay day but I can think the day after I leave OutoKumpu Stainless I will be off on a wondrous 2 week holiday to ZANTE!!

A full month has been completed at work, and I am still here no redundancy in site for me at this very moment I have been quite a prolific salesperson! I am the bearer of bad news as unfortunately there has been 2 redundancies made within my office, this has demoralised the staff and there is a sombre mood around the office. Even though this is a bad situation for the people involved and their families, I think I will learn a lot from the situations which have occurred whilst here on placement as it is not a common activity you become involved in. So hopefully I will take my experiences I have learnt here and use them to aid my career development!! So you do learn things on placement the good old learning curve!! As for my deals and been the most talked about guy at OutoKumpu (HaHa) things have been going well, not as fluent as the first week back but a lot better than expected. I becoming more efficient in my role and now it feels like this is my job and I am no longer a student here on placement (Is this a good thing or bad?)

So I finish this blog once again, it is nice having a little break and typing this up. Whilst my colleagues wonder why I am writing a story via email to someone. February very soon and a very busy month, two 21st birthday celebrations, valentines day and my girlfriends birthday. So I look forward to another month without money. Oh I do long for the days when I am a student again and I have no money worries, It will be ok I will pay it later attitude.
